May, 1999 Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) Tour de Sol – Over All Winner First Place in the One Person Vehicle category (motor scooter) And First place in the Production category for motor scooters.

May, 2001 NESEA Tour de Sol - 3 teams with 3 vehicles. Team Micronesia rode the Climate cooler (Motor scooter) in the Prototype Division

• Prototype Division 2 wheeler - First Place
• Handling (cone course) – First place
• Greenest Vehicle Award – Best Overall
• Special Award Production: motor scooter with quick change batteries
Team China rode the Caballito (Motor scooter) in the Production Division
• Production Division One-Person vehicle First Place
Team Global rode the 2 passenger Sunray (combination of people from USA, Canada, Micronesia and China.
•Production Division, First place with Quick Change Batteries
Most Efficient Light Duty Vehicles (miles per gallon equivalent) Second Place - 124.2
•Special Awards – Technical Innovation – PET for their vehicles using Quick Change battery pack.

May 2004 Tour de Sol - 2 bicycles. There was a special division for electric bikes. Bamboo Bike pedal assist driven by David Hao, Intern from China
